Ultraviolet Disinfection System

Bnreo Ultraviolet (UV) systems are used for disinfection purposes. They neutralize microorganisms without adding any chemicals or oxidants to the water.

A low-pressure mercury lamp, housed in a glass case, delivers UV light to the water entering the device. This disrupts the DNA and RNA structures of microorganisms, rendering them ineffective. Because disinfection is carried out without the use of heat or chemicals, the taste and chemical composition of the water remain unchanged.

Ultraviolet lamps should be replaced once a year after their service life (an average of 9,000 hours). This period may vary by manufacturer.
