Filtration Technologies
Suspended solids in your water (such as sediment, rust, sand and other particles) reduce the quality of your water as well as the efficiency of your devices. Filtration systems are one of the most effective and economical methods for removing suspended solids by providing purification of your water with the desired micron precision.
Sand filtration systems
Sand filtration systems are used in order to remove unwanted parameters such as suspended solids, sediment and mud, which may cause blur in water and disrupt the appearance of the water. Thanks to its fully automatic operating principle and compact design, they are preferred due to operator needs and less space occupying. In the sand filter systems with low investment costs, Quartz provides filtration with graded gravel minerals. In a highly efficient system of sand filtration system design, the load to the other filtration system is minimized. Sand filtration systems allow the removal of non -soluble suspended solids and prevent blockages in machinery and installations and increases in energy consumption. The filter sensitivity of sand filter systems operating in the 3-8 bar pressure range may drop up to 20 microns. Automation valves, the main component of sand filter systems, automatically reverse washing according to the predetermined program.
The issues to be considered in the selection of sand filtration systems;
- Whether the system needs preliminary treatment
- The passage rate of water and the bed height of the mineral.
- A substance that will be considered as an advantage in sand filtration systems is that it does not require any substance other than water in its automatic backwashing process thanks to the automation valve. However, the water pressure and flow required for backwashing should be selected correctly.
Uses of sand filtration systems
- Food industry
- Reverse osmosis pretreatment system before
- Chemical industry
- Pharmaceutical industry
- Surface water treatment
- Ground water treatment
- Clean water supply pre -treatment system before feeding water
Active carbon filtration;
With the active carbon filter, unwanted odor, chlorine and compounds, detergent and industrial wastes, organic substances that create unpleasant tastes, oil and asbestos can be removed. The active carbon mineral used in the filtration system is obtained by burning the coconut at high temperature. In addition, active carbon coal is a material with a very large surface area (1,200 m2/g). Active carbon systems perform physical-chemical treatment. The active carbon mineral reaches satisfaction after a while as it cannot assign chemicals such as chlorine it absorbed with reverse washing. Since this process covers absorption as well as physical filtering, the active carbon should be completely replaced by our expert engineers. The active carbon accumulates organic substance and if the water is present in the water, the bacteria may reproduce using this organic substance as food. Active carbon filters, polyethylene or steel tanks with a structure consisting of quartz and active carbon and fully automatic, time -adjusted valve or surface piping controls, thanks to water washing with water.
